MOSCOW. Sept 5 (Interfax) - Russia respects international commitments in settling gas issues with Ukraine, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Monday after negotiations with Ukrainian counterpart Kostyantyn Gryshchenko.
"While settling gas and other economic issues, we are guided with the common principle of respect for international commitments, such as contracts and intergovernmental agreements," he said.
"I think that those handling gas cooperation and other aspects of free trade and liberalization of trade regimes will seek answers professionally, without politicization or ideologization," he said.
"We live and try to build relations with all states on the basis of international principles of respect for mutual and international commitments," Lavrov said.<<<
